How do we know where we are going, if we’ve yet to map it out? A road map helps us see where we are and map out where we are going.
In 2018, you’ll receive weekly emails from us highlighting topics and issues of interest and impact to living our day to day lives at home and work. As Benjamin Franklin says, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure”.
Considering “what if’s” can be an enlightening and empowering experience. It opens the doors to how we envision living our lives, running our businesses, engaging as an employee – all while knowing often life and business happen simultaneously. It helps us gain familiarity with possibilities life may present to us. Think of athletes – they use the power of visualization; they build muscle by continuing to work out muscles and their minds. Taking this approach to our day to day lives builds us up and helps prepare us for when life happens.
In 2018 we will discuss organization, action, gaps, diligence, incapacity, contingencies, freedom, collaboration, communication, legacy, thankfulness and long-term planning for you as whole people who live personal lives and contribute in the workforce.
A quick caveat, I am not an attorney, financial advisor, insurance agent, fiduciary. Through my experiences, I have worked extensively with these terrific professionals and have deep understanding of the “lingo” used! The goal here is to speak in practical layperson terms when speaking of finances, legal, medical, planning and corporate issues to help you gain comfort and confidence with these topics and feel “ok” asking questions of the professionals on your team.
Let’s make 2018 a great year! Step forward in confidence knowing you have resources to help you begin, review or re-do your plans. Help others (loved ones, the courts, colleagues, et al) know who you are and what you wish.
Your feedback has been invaluable and provides insight as to what helps or detracts for you. Keep the information flowing this way!
We proactively help you assess your situation in business and home and explore ways for you to protect what is important to you by asking questions. What is your risk? Your plan? Are you ready to be ready? We’re here when you are.
