It’s Fall!

The fall equinox occurred at 11:50pm Pacific Time on Friday, September 22, 2023, when the sun crossed the celestial equator. Fall is a time of reflection as we prepare for the festivities of the end of the year.

Fall also marks the falling of leaves, shorter days, and colder days while we wait for winter. This makes for a great time to take seasonal inventory and consider projects on your list to complete before the new year.

Put Your Mind At Ease

Rather than making a run for it, as the ducks say, Fall seemed to be the perfect time to deliver something new I’ve designed to help you with life’s seasonal inventory 🌞

Too often people reach out after a devasting loss. This spurs me on to offer new and different ways to work in advance of curveballs coming in fast.

I’ve designed an online 12-module program called Put Your Mind At Ease that will include monthly Live Q&A calls. These twelve sessions will cover what is often overlooked in our day-to-day lives and provide ways people can protect and prepare before disruptions happen.

Each module features a video, a checklist, and a fillable PDF to complete. By completing one module per week, you’ll be on your way to leaving behind a “trail of breadcrumbs” whenever needed. The Live Q&A calls are a great time to clarify what’s needed and why this will help you in the long run and provide accountability by working together.

Providing value and making sure someone is ready, willing, and able to begin is important to me. There are a few questions to answer before starting, to make sure we’re a good fit. If you know of anyone who might benefit from this program, please pass along the information found here:  Put Your Mind At Ease

Fall Planning

We’re still in hurricane season, fire season, and earthquakes can happen at any time. Fall is a great time to review your emergency plans, organize emergency supplies, and improve safety in and around your residence. One of the often missed pieces of an emergency plan is a communication plan.

We’ve become so accustomed to having access, even when separated from loved ones and or co-workers. Have you run a practice drill at home or work in case you lose power, cell phone service, and/or internet connection? If not, now is a good time!

I posted recently about community resources for emergency alerts and services. Are you signed up? This is your “tickle” to do so 😉

Preparedness is a state of mind and a willingness to act. Count me in on your team, should you find you’re ready for some help getting set up.

Send me an Email: Lynn@thelivingplanner.com anytime with questions you may have about your planning or about my new program Put Your Mind At Ease

It seems appropriate to share an autumn quote from The Crawdads Sing, “Autumn leaves don’t fall, they fly. They take their time and wander on this their only chance to soar.” Let’s Put Your Mind At Ease ❣️Lynn
