This blog features articles to inform you about the practical pieces of “life’s administrative” tasks we often overlook.  Today, let’s get more purposeful and consider life as a gift we are able to live each day we wake up.  The Advisory Perspective Series this month features an amazing woman I’ve had the fortune of meeting.  She’s created Joyfuel Life, incorporating her international expertise with her own journey.

What is it that fuels you?  What inspires you?  When you wake up, what puts a smile on your face?  Life and Business intersect daily.  How often do you consider what you need and want in life?  Take some time to explore you … I’m happy to introduce someone who is gifted with this practice, Christina Hall!

Christina is a 32 year old mom originally from Germany, with a previous career as an international marketing managers for agencies and international corporations. Moving to a different country, becoming a mom and overcoming her own health issues paved the way for her personal development journey and finding her real passion and purpose of helping others in their physical health as well as guiding them in their personal growth journey.  Let’s peek at a resource for a life filled with joy, welcome Christina!

Question 1.  What do you enjoy about working with your clients?

I love it when I can see their hope coming back, when they start to dare to dream again of being healthy, having a better life, having more time with their family, friends.  Regarding to personal development specifically: I love it when they realize that they can easily help themselves and that it just takes small adjustments in their day to day routine.

Question 2.  How would you suggest a potential new client prepare for a 1st meeting?

With my holistic lifestyle concept they don’t really have to prepare, as I will help them figure out what they really need and want, for their health and in life, in general. If they want to though, they can think about why they want to change something.  Regarding personal development: I would love for them to being open and not dismiss even the little things that I suggest. Try it first, judge later.

Question 3.  When someone agrees to become a client, what can they expect immediately?  Over time?

They can immediately expect that I am going to be their biggest fan, their motivator, their shoulder to cry on, their advocate, their person and mentor and as involved as they want me to be. They really get to decide but once they decided, I’ll make sure to keep them focused on their decision and goal.  Over time they can expect to meet lots of people that support them as well and find something like a second family.
Regarding personal development: It usually takes a while to see a change, so be patient. But there will be immediate actions taken. An initial interview will tell me more about what they really need vs what they think or believe they need.

Question 4.  What is your service philosophy?

I can help everyone but they have to be open and ready to accept help. I will never force anybody to do anything but be there to help them along their own journey at their own pace.

Question 5.  What resources do you provide to assist “laypeople” with understanding what is being discussed?

There are tons of educational resources, from books to studies to webinars and one on one coaching. I am also closely connected with experts from other fields that are able to translate scientific studies into language that anyone can understand.  Regarding personal development: I have gone through everything that I suggest doing myself and will be able to give examples for better understanding and am also available to provide other resources if necessary.

Bonus Question!  If you were to relay one piece of advice to anyone reading this, what would it be?

Always be your authentic self and don’t worry about what others think. Be kind to others but also to yourself.
