Question 1.  What do you enjoy about working with your clients?
I love working with clients that enjoy what they do and want to work with other professionals to round out the areas they need help with most. Working with technology is fun for me and know I know it’s not fun for everyone. The best clients to work with are the ones that know technology is not their thing and appreciate the work I do for them.

Question 2.  How would you suggest a potential new client prepare for a 1st
meeting?
The best thing a potential new client can do before the first meeting is to create a list of anything and everything they no longer want to handle by themselves. Take a week or so and write down every task handled that you would love to not handle ever again. After we chat a bit and get to know each other, we can talk through the list and figure out first steps. We can usually fix an item or two during that first meeting.

Question 3.  When someone agrees to become a client, what can they expect immediately?  Over time?
Usually the first thing we do is choose a couple of “pain points” that the client would like to get taken care of as soon as possible. Sometimes they are quick fixes, sometimes they take a bit longer, but I always want to get things moving in a positive direction quickly.
As time goes on, we work through the original list that was created and start checking off items as they are fixed or no longer an issue. The goal is to create a good communication system between myself and the client so that urgent issues are taken care of quickly and long-term projects stay on track.

Question 4.  What is your service philosophy?
I partner with business owners to build their businesses to its greatest potential. I use the word “partner” because I believe it best describes what I do to help my clients. I come along side them and allow them to offload the work they don’t want to handle.

Question 5.  What resources do you provide to assist “laypeople” with understanding what is being discussed?
Most of my clients will freely admit that they don’t understand the technical side of what I do. I make sure I explain everything in plain English. Many of my clients say that it’s my superpower to make technical stuff easy to understand. I kinda like that idea of having a superpower

Bonus Question!  If you were to relay one piece of advice to anyone reading this, what would it be?
When looking for support for your business, whether it’s a VA, website help, project manager, or any other service provider, make sure you feel comfortable enough to ask questions. If you can’t ask questions, then maybe they aren’t the right provider for you.
