February is the month we celebrate Valentines Day, love and our hearts! The National Heart, Lung and Blook Institute features February as Heart Awareness Month to raise awareness about heart health.
This topic is personal for me. Heart issues run deep in my family. Yes, matters of the heart involve love and loving. Sometimes loving ourselves involves broadening awareness about the heart itself.
The NIH has an extensive resource list on its website. Here is a link to their website to help you learn how to prevent heart disease: https://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/health-topics/education-and-awareness/heart-month/help-prevent-heart-disease
Sharing some fact sheets to help you consider your heart health. A picture paints a thousand words! Thanks NIH for your graphics 🙂
