It’s a good time to pace yourself! The hustle and bustle of this time of year is real. Preparation for the holiday season, work, and year-end demands can take a toll.
It’s an important reminder to think of life as a marathon vs. a sprint and pace yourself! I found some helpful tips on the ElevateNetwork.com site I’d like to share.

1) Make Time for Sleep
We hear it over and over again, but sleep really is the most basic of all the building blocks for mental and physical wellbeing. So many of us are moving through life in a sleep-deprived state, which affects everything from cognitive ability to weight gain to social/emotional intelligence and mood.
2) Limit Screentime
You may roll your eyes reading this tip 😉 I highly suggest incorporating a “digital detox” practice! There is no question that screen time can be fun, and it can take away being present in the moment. Doing a digital detox is one of the best gifts we can give ourselves.
3) Receive and Give
‘Tis the season to want to give and give, and then give some more. It’s a wonderful time to practice receiving too! One thing to remember is this – allowing others to give to you brings them joy.
According to Amanda Owen, author of The Power of Receiving, it’s important to have a balance between the two. Giving as well as graciously receiving gifts or compliments keeps our channel of abundance open to new experiences and much joy.
4) Saying No, is OK
Saying no allows you to have the time to say yes to what lights you up! It’s ok to say no, especially at this time of year!
5) Heck with Perfect
Allow yourself to forget “perfect” this holiday season, and do your best to embrace simplicity and a feeling of contentment. Remember that “good enough” is often just that – good enough!
With the remaining holiday time ahead, enjoy some self-care, set strong boundaries, and remember “Slow and steady wins the race!” this holiday season. And remember, we have a brand new year right around the corner!

Speaking of New Year
Remember to pace yourself! Enjoy some downtime before the new year arrives ❣️
As you begin thinking about a fresh start for a new year, consider this. My 12-module online course Put Your Mind at Ease is a way for you to take weekly action in bite-sized chunks. It’s a great way to start the year!
Each module features a video, a checklist, and a fillable PDF to complete. By completing one module per week, you’ll be on your way to leaving behind a “trail of breadcrumbs” whenever needed.
Three Live Q&A calls are optional. These are an opportunity to check in monthly and clarify what’s needed and why this will help you in the long run. Think of it as accountability along the way! So much can be accomplished in by the end of Q1 2024 😉If you know of anyone who might benefit from this program, please pass along the information found here: Put Your Mind At Ease
