Of late, we have been researching end of life options as they are being considered throughout the United States.
Continuing in this vein, California has current legislation, SB 128 on the docket. The Patients Rights Council in Ohio recently posted information about the California legislation which may be of interest to you.

The California legislation is patterned after Oregon’s “Death with Dignity Act”. Much attention was given to Oregon after a California resident, Brittany Maynard, moved to Oregon elected to move to Oregon and exercise her choice to die with dignity.
After growing up in an environment which advocated critical thinking and after living outside the United States for over seven of my adult years; I urge anyone to educate themselves about any impact of legislation and speak up. The freedoms we have in this country are remarkable. We have the freedom to have access to information, the freedom of speech, the right of assembly, the right to vote, etc. etc!
If this information is of interest to you, let us know what you are interested in – We’ll keep researching!
